Sell my Dräger Ray with top equipment - ready to dive immediately
The Ray was equipped with a long 7kg steel backplate and a Narked at 90 stand so that it can be dived like a wing device. The supplied 8l Nitrox tank is mounted transversely in the stand as usual. The tank has a normal Din connection and the device is operated with an Apexs Din stage.
On the inflator, which was equipped with a Mares Air Source vest in the course of the alternative air supply, there is a shut-off valve, so that a closing of the tank before the dive is omitted.
The Ray is equipped with an Aladin Oxy2 (sensor from 26.3.2015) which sits directly on the inhaled lung via a P-Connect.
Also for sale is an Aladin Air Z O2 which is currently receiving a new battery. All hoses as Miflex.
Some Dräger spare parts, original Dräger stage and inflator as well as original instructions are also included.
Advantages of this setup compared to a "normal" Ray:
- easy installation thanks to stand
- easy handling due to carrying strap or handle
- perfect water location
- Stage tanks as bail out can be easily latched in
- extremely compact hose routing
- no oxygen sensor on the breathing tube
- no additional lead required (Neoprene Trocki)
- nice weight distribution
- simple gas management by shut-off valve (Constant Flow is off, but buoyancing and bailout remains active)
- 8l tank lasts just as long as the lime, so new tank = new lime
- if necessary, a real wing can also be easily mounted as an additional buoyant bubble.
So all in all a top device in which I have tapped many ideas and work. But since I am only on the road with my Poseidon CCR lately, I decided to sell it.
As soon as the Aladin Air Z O2 is back with a new battery, you can immediately get into the water. However, the 8l tank needs TÜV, expired in May 2015. But the tank is new, so it is the first time it has to go to the TÜV.

By arrangement, a visit or a test dive is possible.
If you want, you can also buy a 3l Nitrox tank (TÜV until 04-2016). Used this for flat and short TG.
