Offer Education Special Course Oceanology on 17.02.2008

The marine biology course Oceanology will take place on 17.02.2008 from about 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the premises of one of the most beautiful German aquariums - the aquazoo Düsseldorf. The head of the course is Jörg Allenstein, who has been working as a zoo educator at the Aquazoo for many years.
The aim is to provide insight and understanding of the interrelationships of this fascinating underwater world and to enable more conscious diving.


In individual multimedia presentations, the topics

• The sea as a habitat
• The systematics of living beings and ecology

.

It also answers questions such as:
• How and why is a fish male or not?
• Why do crabs and gobies live together?
• Which animals are poisonous and how to treat them
Injuries?
• What is bionics?

A large pool of teaching material, observations at the pools and tours in front of and behind the scenes round off this day.

Each participant will receive a folder with teaching material and a sticker in the dive passport/logbook as proof of success.

Requirements: 14 years; CMAS* or equivalent; at least 20 dives
